About

Speech. Motherhood. Learning. Home. One thoughtful story at a time.

Hello, I’m Kristina.

I’m a graduate student studying speech-language pathology with a passion for helping children and families communicate with confidence. My professional interests include pediatric speech and language development, autism, AAC, early intervention, and evidence-based practice.

Outside of graduate school, I’m also a mother who believes that learning doesn’t stop when class ends. Life is a balance of studying, creating, cooking, building routines, and finding joy in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

Avani Speech was created as a place to share what I’m learning along the way—from speech and language education to graduate school experiences, motherhood, food, organization, and building a meaningful career. My hope is that every article leaves readers feeling informed, encouraged, and inspired.
